January 8, 2024 is a blizzard day here in Nebraska. Everything east of Arnold, Nebraska is closed today because of the snow storm. The kids got a snow day! I hope they enjoy it and can go sledding and make snowmen tomorrow. The winds are predicted to come on strong later today and overnight. That will be hard on the trees and the cattle in the fields. And also on the ranchers and farmers responsible for the animals care. We are safe and warm in our home and pray everyone is off the roads and safe in their own homes.
If you have to travel please check 511 to see if it is even possible for you. The snowplows will wait until the snow has stopped falling before tackling the clearing of the roads.
