It feels more like Spring than late winter here in Central Nebraska. Today's temperature is expected to be near 70 degrees!! However, we are in need of rain or some kind of moisture. It is so very dry. I did see sundogs about a week ago. Wive's tales suggest that a big weather change will occur about two weeks after the sundogs appear. So, we will see what's in store for us next week.
The Winter Olympics have been enjoyable to watch. I especially love the ice skating and ski jumps. Such incredible athleticism displayed.
We are still taking showers at Mali's house as we still don't have a new water heater. Hoping that changes this week. I did post a gofundme to raise money for the water heater but so far only one (dear) friend has contributed. Thanks Nina! It will all be fine. Boiling water on the stove to wash dishes and our faces. Makes a person appreciate the little things just a little bit more.
I have paperwork waiting on me so better get at it. And need to pick up bills to pay for the Village today. Board meeting tomorrow.
